Joint Types

Joints are formed at the confluence of two or more bones. Various kinds of joints allow for varying degrees of movement. Various joints, such as the skull, is a joint fixed. Joints are semi-moving, as in the spine, providing stability and flexibility. Most of the joints, the synovial joints, move freely. The major types of synovial joints, as well as field-motion, are as follows: Pivot Joint, Joint Bullets, saddle joints, Elipsoid joints, planar joints and hinge joints.

Axial skeleton-skull, spine, and ribs, consists of 80 bones and protect bone apendikular has consisted of 126 bones of limbs, clavicle, scapula, and pelvic bones. The whole bone is living tissue with cells that continually renew old bone with new material. Bone containing soft fatty material (marrow) which is surrounded by porous bone, which is also surrounded by more dense bone. Marrow in the spine, skull, ribs, pelvis and duty to produce blood cells.
