What is a Blog?

The term 'blog' was introduced by John Barger in December 1997 to describe a collection of sites that contain personal journal or diary of the owner of the site. Also, the personal site contains links or links other sites.
According to Juhn Barger:

1.a weblog (sometimes called a blog or a newspage or a filter) is a webpage where a weblogger (sometimes called a blogger, or a pre-surfer) 'logs' all the other webpages she finds interesting.

2.The format is normally to add the newest entry at the top of the page, so that repeat visitors can catch up by simply reading down the page until they saw on their last visit. (This causes some minor, unavaidable confusions when the logger comments on an earlier link that the visitor has not reached yet.)

While the media columnist for the San Francisco Gate, Roger Yim, stated that the notion refers to the notion blog site managed privately and the owner of activity in daily blogs and a list of links on the Internet.

Two years later, in August 1999, the term blog more boom as Silicon Valley company called Pyra Labs, before it acquired by Google.com-launched blogger.com service that allows anyone have the blog for free.
